I have never read such a collection of boring wedding
ceremonies. It's hard to believe famous people paid for elaborate weddings and then had officiants that performed such short, unimaginative little ceremonies.
Hard to believe this is all they got. My smallest and
least expensive wedding is nicer than any I see here.
Sorry. It's just a bit surprising. |

| As a wedding officiant, I'm pretty sure that these are not the entire vows that were recited but rather they highlighted this one part of the ceremony because it is a bit different than traditional vows. |

| "Hey, duh, vows are supposed to be long and meaningful, duh." Why not make the "I do's" longer and more menaingful too? Let each make a long, meaningful speech to show their love and devotion instead of simply uttering "I do." Longer, more meaningful vows do not ensure a longer, more meaningful marriage! I may have missed Marriage Rules 101, but I don't believe there is any such rule demanding that vows be long. Short vows are beautiful, sweet, to the point, and just as meaningful! |

| I like that the words used are contemporary and they make sense. The guy I'm marrying soon would hate words to go on for too long. Although I'm more used to public speaking than he is I know that I'll be nervous and this wording would express perfectly my beliefs, and it isn't too long! Lets face it babbling on for ages would be boring. We have friends doing reading for us, to make it even more special and will be glad that the focus will be on them as well as us. |
