| This is exactly what I was looking for. When I read them, I fell in love with those words. They have special meaning because they basically say that the reason why you are marrying this person, is because you cherish them just a little more than yourself, and that you hold them in high regard. It's beautiful and talks about a love that most people don't understand and don't feel. My fiance and I have our rings engraved with "For all eternity" so to have these vows saying it as well just makes it even better. I truly love this saying. It is also a woman saying she is claiming a man so it's not just about the man claiming the woman. Jesus people! |

I'd have to say that these are actually some of the more powerful vows that I've ever seen. Saying "I do" isn't a partial committment. It's kind of one of those all or nothing things in life. It shouldn't be taken lightly and honestly when you say you want to be with someone and no one else for the rest of your life and you want them to be with you and no one else... yeah... you're kinda staking a claim there. I think that's the way it should be. The man that I'm going to marry ... he's "my love" and I tell people that I'm his.
