Weddings are traditionally thought of as a public committment before GOD and family. Friends and the Church. This doesn't mean that you have to believe this, or even say these vows.
Either way, no one wants to hear your pathetic one-sided views, especially when we're all hear to read about vows, and the sanctity and beauty of the union of marriage.
