| My fiance and I have made the decision to keep religion out of our vows, simply to keep from upsetting anyone and also because we are an interfaith couple. I'm wiccan and he is agnostic. His family is christian and alot of mine is as well. But I like these vows, even though they mention religion. But it's nice because if we decided to use these, we could easily re-word or remove the religious peices of it and it will still sound good and still express our love and committment to one another. These are definatley on the list of possibilities. |

| My husband, Mike, and I used these vows (well, we actually made them longer, added some additional biblical language and filled it in a bit more) and we used the unison part as well (I don't understand how that can be "too much"...either it is a covenant for life or it isn't). There was nothing weird about the unison part. It was actually very unique and significant. The photographer was teary-eyed when we finished. |
