| How true are these words |
| Name: t w i n s | 2007-09-03 |
| I got married to these words.... In my eyes you know the meaning of forever love. I am 37 I have been married for 10 1/2 years I have been with my husband for 16 years the love just grows stronger. The trust grows with us. We are about to make the biggest decision of our lives, if we did not trust each other there would be no decision to make. We would not be where we are now.... You have to believe in the person you cherish and love, when that person is felt to be loved they can then love there destiny and be happy. What else do we want????? |

I have been married for 36 years and we did the
traditional vows the only thing is we took them
very serious and we lived by them always. This the
recipe for a successful marriage. Believe in the words you are saying when you repeat the vows to each other
and know you mean them and will live by them for the rest of your lives. If more people did this we would have alot less divorces leaving single parent to raise
children alone. |
| Thanks |

| I'm getting married in September and I'm going to use the traditional Vows. This has helped me to determine how I wanted to have my ceremony. And by this website now I'm a little stress free. Thanks again! |

| My husband and I have been married for 27 years. I showed him these vows. What he did not do, was take better or worse, richer for poorer, and in sickness and in health. We actually renewed our vows 7 years ago, on our 20th anniversary. Now that I am sick, and unable to work, he is pulling away from me. What should I do? I really thought he would be sick and infirm first, not me. I truly believed that even if he were disfigured in an accident or dirt poor, I would, and will stand by him and support him, not make him feel like a complete stranger. BE AWARE when you take these vows, not every one is equipped to handle not just one, but all the vows. |

| My Vows |
| Name: Charlie | 2008-04-14 |
| My wife passed away 60 years ago today and I am currently 81. My vow is mention above, "I,Charlie Upton, take you, Rosemary Vernern, to be my wife, according to God’s holy decree, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do we part: and to that I pledge you my faithfulness." One other vow I made to her when she was in hospital is that I will never remarry or have a day without visiting her final resting place as long as I lived, and I have proudly held up to that. For 60 years, I haven't missed a day at the cemetery with her, maybe "Til death do us part" may even be overcome. |
