Your correct I can see the groom doesnt have that, the faithful part, so my groom will be saying it as well as well...Easy as pie. The challenge is not being a divorced statistic huh...
Also I think in the traditional vows there is a part where the wife has to say OBEY in the vows but the groom doesnt ;o/. Hence looking for my own vows lol..
i will use this when i get married because i am christan and i will do a church wedding in christan church
I really like most of the vows on your website. It was very helpful in picking one for my wedding. Thank you and my God bless you.
This exchange is absolutely perfect for us. I am a believer in Christ and my fiance is not so this couldnt be any more perfect for us! Thank you!
What a Blessing
I am an Interpreter of the Deaf and feel blessed to have the privelage of providing my services for a young Deaf couple, with whom are getting married tomorrow. This site has provided me with excellent information that not only allowed me to prepare for the ceremony and such, but also to do the best I can to ensure that their day will be special as God intended. Thank You
where is HIS promise
Both husband and wife should promise to be faithful, otherwise there is the loop hole that HE didnt say it. UH DUH!!
Got it backwards
It should be the groom telling his bride that he promises to love her "as Christ loved the Church"
do you notice that the groom doesnt pledge faithfullness in the ring exchange
This site is wonderful
I am performing my first marriage ceremony as a pastor in the morning at the beach for a couple in our ministry we began last fall. There is true inspiration in what I have taken from this site to use in the service. Continue to do God's work through this ministry and my best wishes to you for continued success.
