As we are a mature couple looking to do some different things at both the ceremony and the reception. I have chosen not to have my Dad give me away or do father of the bride speech choosing instead to have our respective grown children to take these roles. However I have been looking to find a role for my wonderful eighty seven year old father and this vow with very little adaptation makes a perfect blessing prayer for either the ceremony or a grace before the wedding breakfast.
